Second, a person can choose a lifestyle that will help burn up excess calories. Don’t be a couch potato. If you have to, get a job that makes you move around constantly. This will help keep you in shape with out you realizing it.

Obesity can be caused by other factors as well. For example, a person may feel depressed (see depressive disorders entry) or have a low self-image. In response to those feelings, the person may eat more than his or her body really needs. The excess calories are converted to body fat.

Once you actually become obese or severely overweight, your metabolism slows down, making it tougher to lose the fat. As a child, excess calories are converted into new fat cells. Those fat cells remain in the child’s body throughout life. In adulthood, excess calories simply cause existing fat cells to get larger. What this means is that obesity in childhood is big problem that is tough to overcome.

The best way to combat obesity is to work out as often as possible. Six Of The Best Tips On Blasting That Belly Fat

All the best intentions in the world will not help you get rid of fat if you do not take some action and start today in your bid to get rid of that fat forever, say goodbye, wish it well and never to return. You know you can do this so why not just do it.

Step one
Make a plan , what are you going to do, choose an exercise that you know you will enjoy, research it if you have to, purchase any necessary equipment (you do not have to spend a lot in most cases). When are you going to do it, schedule your exercise into your week.

Take your measurements and weight. Every two weeks record your new results. It is very important that you do not do this everyday because you will become obsessed and feel that you are failing. The end result will be that you give up in your quest of getting rid of fat.

Step five
Have a good look in your cupboards, any junk food goes, do not think I will eat it and then I will not purchase anymore, out it goes. You will get craving’s sure, for about two weeks, but after that you will not care about it in the slightest and actually detest the stuff. BELIEVE ME!

Step Six
Everyday take time out to visualize the new you, (day dream) add emotion, how does it feel, where would you go, see yourself purchasing those jeans you always wanted, picture people giving you positive comments, feel your new energy. Here’s a secret the human brain cannot tell fact from fiction, if you work on this you will get what you desire because you will propel yourself to getting it and you will get rid of that fat once and for all.

One important thing to remember is to not go like a bull in a china shop, steady and consistent is the way to go you will need to hold back a little because you will get the exercise buzz and be tempted to do to much which will lead to burning out and or injury which will stop you completely in your tracks and then depression may hit. This all adds up to one big disaster, let common sense prevail, do not make that an excuse to be idleyou will need to work hard but at the same time be smart. Live to fight another day and get rid of that excess weight.

Jogging The Super Exercise – Start Today

That’s right You heard it right, jogging is the best exercise that will propel you to your fat loss goals so fast that you will probably get a nose bleed. All joking aside, jogging is the number one exercise that you should be focusing all your efforts on if you are serious about losing weight.

What you will need to get started is some suitable clothing dependent on your climate , a set of running shoes , a bottle of water and a safe place in which to jog. Unfortunately I need to stress that safety does not just mean traffic these days, it also covers such things as jogging alone at night or in a lonely park or country area with little or no other people around.

I have found it to be very beneficial to get your self a note book and write down your goals and pre-plan your work outs, I recommend that you jog every other day to prevent suffering an injury or worse burning out completely and giving up all together.

There’s no doubt about it jogging burns calories and it burns bucket fulls of them and not only while you are jogging but for many hours after wards and will set your metabolism at warp speed .

Remember this is not a race so set yourself a gentle pace and as you get fitter you will naturally start to lift the pace and find that youno longer suffer from breathlessness . If you are not unfit, do not worry there is a great system which is called the Jog / walk system that has proved it’s worth to many a newbie . All you do is start jogging and when you need a rest you rest passively by walking but do not stop. Once you get your breath back you start jogging and so on and so on. You will be jogging all the way before you know it.

This is my personal preference only but I strongly urge you to try it. Jog first thing in the morning, before work, dropping the kids off at school etc. As you exercise your body releases endorphin, this is a free, feel happy drug that is produced naturally by your body. This will help you get through your day with vigor and new found energy that you never knew existed. Not only will you feel a million bucks throughout the day you will sleep like a baby at night as well. Is that good or good.

I recommend that you plan on jogging for about 30 minutes with a 5minute warm up and cool down (this does not count towards your exercise session) Warm up by gently walking, this will warm up your muscles and joints and get the blood flowing, the same for the cool down. After you have cooled down, perform some light stretches. You will get far more benefitby stretching at the end of your exercise than you will at the start and to be quite frank most probably injure yourself.
