PRK And LASIK - How Similar Are They?

We have often heard about LASIK and the way it can give us a perfect vision. It is interesting to note that not many people have come across the term Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK). PRK is also a pretty common vision correction sugery that has been achieve the same success as LASIK for at least 2 decades.

Here are some common traits of PRK and LASIK:
1) There is no pain during the entire process

5) LASIK tends heal faster than PRK

As you can see, there are some differences but in general both processes are safe.
