The Dangers
Things to Watch Out For
This is not a healthy eating plan you want to stay on for a long period of time. It is a short (7-10 days normally) "fast" to achieve a specific goal--that of cleansing your intestines. This "diet" lacks protien and other nutrients and you should check with your doctor before doing it. Learn more about the dangers of the lemonade diet. All About the "Lemonade Diet"

Basically, what you do is ingest 60-80 ounces of filtered water mixed with fresh-squeezed lemon juice (must be fresh!), grade b organic maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. I know, it sounds kind of weird, doesn't it? The lemon juice acts as an internal cleanser, the syrup as a sweetener and the cayenne pepper helps keep the insides "open" so the lemon juice can do it's job. You also drink a quart of saltwater in the morning and a cup of herbal laxative tea at night. Those both have the job of helping you eliminate built-up waste, which they do very effectively, if you know what I mean!
The heavy mucus coating in the colon thickens and becomes a host of putrefaction. The blood capillaries to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall. All tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic substances. Here is the beginning of true autointoxication on a physiological level.~ Dr Bernard Jensen, DC, ND, Ph.D.
Why You Need a Coach
Going through this process is not easy. I repeat... it's very difficult. Still, it's worth it if you do it right. If you only do it halfway, either because you lack the self-control, or you don't really know what you're doing, you're wasting your time, you may not get the maximum benefit you could be getting and you could even hurt yourself.
Even if you do know what to do, because you read it on the internet, do you know...
How to go back to "regular" eating?
The best foods to help you ease back into a normal diet?
What you will do when you feel like you are starving, especially during those first three, most difficult days?
How you will deal with the aches and pains in your joints... and is that even normal?
What the best is way to use the Lemonade Diet for weight loss? Yes, you're avoiding meat, but can you do without protein altogether? If not, what can you have that will not nullify the diet?
How you can reduce the side effects?A coach could help you with all that.
In my research, I've come across a lot of tips and talk about the master cleanse diet and how you can do it. However, I've also been impressed with a single source of valid, legitimate, and useful information. Raylen Sterling has put it all together with his ebook, "Master Cleanse Secrets." You need to at least check out his website. He's got a lot more information than what I've put here, as well as some fantastic testimonials from people who have successfully been coached through the process.
You will learn such things as:
What some people do wrong that makes them gain weight on this diet. Yuck!
A list of "safe" foods you can have while on the diet
How to become the absolute zen master of your cravings. Who's in control here, anyway?
How the master cleanse heals the outside of your body, too; have healthy, glowing skin
What the best day is to start the cleanse... you were just wondering that, weren't you?
Why you need to use special water to make your "lemonade" or it will all be for naught!
and much, much more.
Raylen offers some different packages, depending on how much information you are interested in getting, but believe me, it's all worth it!
